Let The Adventure Begin!
12.50 pm - Everyone has arrived safely at the Whitehall Centre and we are now just about to have lunch. :)
6.30 pm - Children have had their tea and are layering up ready for their night hike! We are expecting rain/snow but spirits are high. Keep checking the website for updates and pictures as we upload them (expected here late tonight/early tomorrow morning..........)
Group B- Miss Shanahan’s Group!
Today we have organised ourselves with waterproofs, been on the small zip wire (which everyone did) and experienced the night walk. Our skills of map reading were not ideal and we managed to get lost a total of 3 time with two children loosing their shoes! We also got out the shelter to experience what it would be like to be stranded. What a fantastic day! We cannot wait for tomorrow!
Group A:
Miss Robinson’s group have had a great first afternoon getting to know our instructor Dave, having a go at one of the ropes courses and trying very hard to get Thomas back out of the mud on the night walk! We’re settling in for our first night and looking forward to our adventure day tomorrow.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
