Teaching and learning
At Granby Junior School, our curriculum places emphasis on the importance of skills in English and Maths, linking them with other curriculum areas so that children are able to apply their skills and further extend their knowledge. Staff use imaginative and creative teaching to make learning fun and exciting and we go on a range of trips to support the children’s learning. We also offer a wide variety of activities which support our curriculum including many sports, music, foreign languages, ICT, and other learning experiences and clubs.
We run many small group sessions for children who need targeted support, including linking with other schools and settings.
