If you have any concerns for your child or another child within our school, please discuss this with the school at the earliest opportunity, and we will take it seriously. You can do this by contacting your child's class teacher on SeeSaw if it is something involving your child that their class teacher can manage accordingly. If your child's class teacher feels these concerns relate to safeguarding, they will discuss these concerns with a member of our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs).
If you feel that your concern is a safeguarding matter, you can send an email via the schools' enquiry email address: enquiries@granby.derbyshire.sch.uk or call the school directly to make arrangements to speak to one of our DSLs. All concerns relating to the safety and welfare of a child are addressed and dealt with by a member of our DSL team. We will listen to your concerns and recognise your feelings while seeking out the best possible solution, taking into account the best interests of our children. Sharing concerns straight away will support the best possible outcome for individuals involved.
Our DSLs (Designated Safeguarding Leads) are Mrs Rees, Mrs McCondach, Mrs Clark or Miss Slater.
