Road Safety and Christmas!
What a busy and fun Friday. The Christmas jumpers seemed to help you with your maths as you did brilliantly in our weekly testsπ€© After dinner we had a fun lesson about how to make sure that we can be seen by drivers in the dark or on a dull, grey day. You investigated what materials we should wear.
Magnificent writing .... in pen! π
Today we finished our reports about Ronald Dahl. Then, once we had edited our work, we started to write them up neatly for display. Wow!!!!! The reports look super π€© and Mrs Rees was very impressed when she saw them. It has made us realise how exciting it would be to earn a pen licence. Let’s make that our goal next term.
The Big Switch On π
This week’s VIP switched on our Christmas tree lights today. They look lovely. Now we need to open our advent calendar.
Christmas Celebrations π
Well done to the winners of Mrs Drew’s competition! I think all of us our winners though as the Chinese lanterns that she has made using our artwork are beautiful.
Christmas Decorations!
Today Mrs Drew came to visit and made Christmas decorations with us. It was a lovely afternoon.
Decorating the tree!
Here is a picture of our school council members ready to decorate the school Christmas tree. A big thank you to them both for doing this important job.
I will bring in our class Christmas tree on Friday and we will decorate it. I have already received some beautiful home-made decorations to put on it. If you would like to make one too, please bring it in on Friday. We will also put up our advent calendars to help us to count down the days.

Our Book of Nonsense Poems
Here is what we have created so far. It is looking good π
Stinky, colourful, wonderful food πππ£π°
Today we carried on our work on nonsense poems by finding adjectives to describe the appearance, smell and texture of different foods. Then we combined these to make new words to use in a poem.
A Fablitastic Day
Today we have been learning about multiplication as groups and also nonsense poetry. It was great fun! I loved your moves to our times table rock and your performance poetry was awesome π
Missing you!
I hope you are having fun. I have missed you lots but I have learnt some fun new things to use in our learning πI look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
A Spotacular Day!
What a great day we had raising money for Children in Need.
Well done to all those who received a certificate in our special awards ceremony. A big thank you to the grown ups for joining us.
Instructions and bread.....
We have been learning about instructions this week so today we found out about how to make a sandwich and then write instructions to help someone else. I hope that they like odd sandwich fillings as your suggestions were unsual!
Cadbury's World :D
Well done on a super trip to Cadbury's World today. It was an ABSOLUTE pleasure to accompany you. I had a great time and I hope that you did too. I have put a few photographs below to show what a great time we had :) Well done everybody!!!
A big thank you to all the grown ups who waited so patiently for our bus to navigate its way through all the traffic jams. It was a very long and hot drive back but it was worth if for such a fun day!
