Scream Machine Homework

Topic homework has been given out for this half term. All children should complete two pieces of homework and have a choice between English, creative and science based activities. Please ensure the two pieces you complete are from two separate columns. Topic Homework is always due in on Friday and the first piece is due in on the 15th November. These pieces of homework should have some time and effort put into them so that they can be displayed in our school. The children should be able to talk about what they have done for homework presentations. Spare homework sheets can be found in the classroom for those who may have lost their homework sheet.

This week (week 1) we have been writing calligrams in the shape of a rollercoaster. All the children worked really hard on their writing and produced some fabulous poems - well done! Some of us decided that we wanted to record our poems, take a listen below to see what you think.

The art of being brilliant!

The art of being brilliant! 1
Over the last couple of weeks, year 5 have been having a special workshop called ‘The art of being brilliant’. This workshop has focused on how to have a positive mindset and to be the best version of ourselves. This week (week 2 of 3) Libby from our class managed to win herself a t-shirt for all her fantastic contributions to the workshop! 😊
