Pharaohs Topic Homework

Topic homework has been given out today (15/02/19). Please see the sheet below to see what is expected. All children should complete three pieces of homework, one creative, one science and one English based activity. These pieces of homework should have some time and effort put into them and the children should be able to talk about what they have done for homework presentations.

Week 1

This week we have been learning all about our new topic Pharaohs. We have learnt all about the mummification process and even completed it with our very own body (a tomato). We have also been learning about the discovery of Tutankhamun's Tomb.

Today we have been using clay to make Egyptian pots and vases. We used different tools to carve patterns into our pots. We are now leaving them to dry out, ready to paint next week.
