Safeguarding In Sport
Following the recent disclosures by Andy Woodward, Steve Walters and Paul Stewart about the abuse they suffered as young footballers, parents may be concerned about the clubs and organisations which their children attend. Under current legislation all sporting facilities and coaches are required to follow strict safeguarding procedures.
