Thankyou all for adhering to our new measures. It's lovely to see all the children back, and I'm sure they are pleased to be back with their friends. Although a little different.
As today was the full re-opening of school since March, we knew there would be a few issues that arise.
Our first stumbling block is that we are on a main road and we have to stagger start times. Please could I ask that only 1 adult accompanies the child (siblings if necessary). Please also be on time for your child's gate and not early. When your child has gone into school please move away from the gate.
If you miss your slot, or have siblings going in earlier. Please take the other child to reception. The child will be greeted by the Teaching Assistant of their class. This will hopefully help ease some congestion. If the congestion doesn't ease - we may have to look at altering gate 2. From Monday the 7th September the gate 3 will be slightly further down (the double gates) please wait in the triangle area.
Thankyou for bearing with us, whilst we adapt to all the new changes and share them with you.
A reminder that children will be asked to wear their PE kit, on the days they will be doing PE. The teacher's will tell your children today.
As of Monday 7th September, each week you must decide if your child is dinners or sandwiches for the whole week. We cannot change each day like before, due to the current situation. There is no need to inform the school, your child will be asked when the register is taken on Monday each week.
From October half term, this will be termly.
Our priority is to protect your children and minimise the risks. If you have any concerns please speak to Miss Slater (School Business Manager) firstname.lastname@example.org
