We are getting ready to get home.

Just to let you know about the arrangements for our return. We hope to be back at the end of the school day. We will keep you updated. If you would like to wait in the school playground so that we can all get into the hall and arrange our bags. We will then ask you come up the kitchen steps to collect your child - who will be full of stories to tell. You will then be able to leave through the front door. Thanks so much for your support with this.

Update of the day to follow.

Our last wake up call by Mrs Stevens. Some dorms joined in and danced. Others hid under duvets and sounded like whales moaning ( how one child described her own dorm). The teachers were sounding more like whales as well!

Morning.  Our last breakfast has been eaten together. It will seem very quiet at breakfast for us all tomorrow. They have now the difficult task of trying to get their things back in the bags that you have packed for them. There has been help and advice given. Let's hope they use it!

What a fantastic week we have had. So proud of their hard work, team work, smiles, laughter and determination - and that is just when they have to clean the table and their rooms. The morning saw all the children running around the fields near Whitehall orienteering. Then the challenge was cleaning kit and getting it accepted by Joe and Mark in stores. There are still photos to come - so please keep a look out at the weekend.

Whitehall staff have yet again been supportive and fun, as well as Granby staff who have made this week possible. The week was all about the children and their enjoyment and achievements. But the teachers did also have fun playing games on scooter boards.

A week to be proud of. Well done everyone.
